Clients Robert and Alison Coombs found an incredible plot near the river Tamar in south-west Devon. The plot had an old cottage and some industrial buildings on it, which had been Victorian smelting works. The buildings had been left to deteriorate over the years, but they could see the potential and loved the views of, and access to, the river.
The clients really liked some projects on the Carpenter Oak website and felt they could inform the plans that they already had in mind, so got in touch with us. As they didn’t have an architect, we helped them with finding one, and they commissioned Roderick James Architects.
