Meeting us at any of our events is a great way to discuss your plans, get expert advice, and find inspiration for your project, whether it’s an oak-framed house, glulam extension, Douglas fir cabin, larch annex, or other structural timber outbuildings, while speaking directly with homeowners and the team behind each build.

Self-Builders Day

Where: Sustainability Theatre, NSBRC, Swindon
Join us for a FREE self-build event where an expert team will provide invaluable advice about building a structural timber framed home.
We’ve got a brilliant line up of internal and external experts, covering:
- Planning advice for self-builders
- How to finance your dream home
- Designing an oak frame home
- Eco heating and ventilation systems
You'll also hear from self-builder Leonie about building her family home with a hybrid oak frame – taking you through her self-build journey, providing tips and advice for anyone planning their own timber framed build.

Winter CPD event

Join us this November at the NSBRC for a half-day CPD event designed for professionals. The program features a two-part presentation on the benefits of timber construction and key detailing considerations, along with a guided tour of the NSBRC site.
