Graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2007.
Rob has embarked on a career bringing together designing and making since then, initially in production design for film and theatre.
Rob chose to focus on wood due to its joy to work with, to explore the fascinating techniques of joinery and for the aesthetic, structural and environmental characteristics of timber as a construction material.
He’s designed and delivered projects with complex requirements, in terms of end use and structurally in traditional post and beam, and engineered mass timber, for private and commercial sectors.
Rob has a comprehensive understanding of timber detailing for design, manufacture, and installation.
