I've always been interested in craft and studied product design at university and bench joinery at college.
Before I started with Carpenter Oak in 2023 as a frame designer, I worked in the oak frame industry for seven years as an oak frame carpenter. I've really enjoyed the transition and learning new skills, under the guidance of Paul Slemmings, our Design Manager. Some of my favourite Carpenter Oak projects are Brixton Department Store and Willowplatt Barn.
Outside of work, I like hiking and exploring the Devon countryside.
