Meeting us at one of our shows is the best way to talk us through your plans, get expert advice and gain inspiration for your oak framed house, extension, renovation, cabin, annex or other outbuilding.
As well as shows across the UK, Carpenter Oak run a number of open house and other events throughout the year, which have proven extremely popular with anyone wanting to see a structural timber-framed house up close and speak to the homeowners and the people behind the build.

Winter CPD event
When: Tuesday 18th November
Where: Sustainability Theatre, NSBRC, Swindon

This half-day event features an exclusive two-part presentation on the benefits of building with timber and the key considerations for detailing. The programme also includes a guided tour of the NSBRC venue.
The sessions will cover traditional timber frames and jointing methods to advanced engineered solutions and mechanical connections. You'll hear about working with and engineering green (i.e. undried) timbers and how timbers are classified. The sessions will also take a deep dive into specific case studies, showing fantastic real-life examples and scenarios. This CPD event relates to the RIBA CPD Curriculum in the Design, Construction and Technology section.
