Polmanter Touring Park wanted a new building that would provide three functions to improve facilities for visitors to their family-run business - a reception area, shop and new luxury accommodation above.
Polmanter has been a family run business for 50 years, and pride themselves on continually re-investing to develop the park using local companies. Our Cornwall yard, just three miles up the road, was the obvious choice for the oak frame element.
Carpenter Oak Cornwall work with other local companies throughout the region to provide the highest quality timber-framed buildings, this time teaming up with fellow St. Ives based firm Symonds Construction.
The adaptability and scope of using a timber frame at the heart of a build project allows for structures that are truly bespoke, depending on what the client needs and what the building will be used for, in this case serving the needs of a business that wanted to improve their facilities and customer experience.
