Carpenter Oak designed the living room wing of their self-build house, packed with lovely oak features: central sling brace frame; a gallery mezzanine; oak valley rafters with common and jack rafters throughout. While the frame only comprised around a third of the floor plan, being at the core of the house and where most time is spent, this very much felt like an oak framed house – delivering excellent value for money.
