The Great Tower of the imposing 12th century Carrickfergus Castle was in need of a new roof - the existing 1930s flat roof was seeping in water, causing mould and other damage.
Paul Price, a historic building specialist (and former Carpenter Oak colleague) was approached about the project and he then engaged with us in the early stages of the design.
