On 6 June 1944, the largest seaborne invasion in history took place on the northern coast of France. From that day to 31 August, when the Normandy campaign was completed, more than 22,000 Allied Forces personnel lost their lives.
The creation of the Normandy Memorial Trust in 2016 galvanised efforts to make the long-awaited memorial a reality.
Carpenter Oak became involved in 2019 and were honoured to be a part of this important project.
