What do you enjoy most about working with wood?
Taking a natural material and through a simple set of tools, making it into a structure that should last for centuries.
When not in the yard, what do you enjoy doing?
If it involves the outdoors, preferably the beach and my beautiful little family I’m happy!
Do you have a favourite quote?
‘Daddy, when me a big boy, me go to work with you yeah’ – Jasper Vaughan
Where is your favourite place in the world?
Following a sports science degree I trained to be a teacher of DT working in Cornwall and Plymouth for a number of years. After a mini career break spent surfing throughout Europe and Morocco with my wife, Leonie, we both decided to take a new direction. Leonie into Physiotherapy and me as a self employed carpenter. We moved back from Cornwall in 2017 to the South Hams and feel super lucky to be back living and working our dream jobs in such beautiful surroundings close to friends and family.
