I've been a carpenter for over three years and worked at Carpenter Oak since autumn 2023. I had heard about the company and whilst checking out the website and their portfolio I saw that they were hiring so I went for it!

I'm learning a lot from the more senior carpenters who are brilliant at passing on their experience and knowledge. I really enjoyed working on a huge oak framed wedding barn earlier in 2024. I learnt a lot whilst building the frame in the workshop and raising it on site was a great experience!
