What a wonderful frame, it looks amazing… Chris and Paul, top blokes! An absolute pleasure to work with them… as usual when working with Carpenter Oak, a memorable and most enjoyable experience, please pass on my most sincere thanks to everyone
A big thank you to your team for a great effort in putting the frame up. It looks fantastic. If you need any references or quotes in the future I’d be more than happy to oblige.
I am writing to say how impressed we are with the oak frame and the service we received. The whole design, manufacture and installation process was carried out on time and on budget. Tim and Ben did a great job on site assembling the frame and clearly took great pleasure from seeing the entire process through from production to installation. They had some serious issues to overcome on site from the weather and technical issues beyond their control - and took them in their stride. We look forward to having the opportunity to work with you again in the future.
Just to say a big thank you for all your hard work and dedication to detail in the making and installation of my oak frame. It has been an education and a privilege to watch you work over the last few days and I have been able to appreciate the skill and craftsmanship that has gone into the construction. You have been a great team to work with and I am absolutely delighted with the outcome

I come from a background in Pattern/Mould making before I earned a living both playing and teaching guitar, then working as a foreman for a Clear Span Marquee company until I found woodworking in 2004. It was then that I went self-employed and spent ten years working on a broad range of projects from handmade kitchens to green timber constructions and scribe rule timber framing. I was lucky enough to work with Alistair Guy during this time on some fantastic projects for clients such as The Eden Project, Cornwall and Escot Estate, Devon amongst many others. I started as a structural framing carpenter with Carpenter Oak in June 2014 and I thoroughly enjoy life here in Devon.
