Many thanks to Anthony and Darren for showing budding self-builders around their oak framed home last weekend, in all about sixty-odd visitors! Some great feedback:
Can we say a very big thanks to you and your team for arranging this open day. The hospitality of yourselves and the bravery of Anthony and Darren to allow a lot of strangers to wander round their home made for a fantastic couple of hours for us to experience a modern Oak frame home.
The opportunity to talk to Anthony and Darren about their build experience, especially their dealings with the planners, was very interesting and to talk to them about the myriad of details that have to be considered will be very helpful when we start our build!
The chance to see how the house fitted together and the materials and finishes used was especially useful as we hope to use some of the same materials and it gave us a chance to see how they looked together rather than looking at individual samples.
Meeting Mike Fleming was unexpected but very helpful to put a face to the name and to discuss our design.
