Where are you from?
Born and raised in South East Kent.
How long have you been a carpenter?
I've worked in the construction industry since my early twenties, I took myself off the college and gained my city and guilds qualifications in site carpentry and joinery in 2017.
How did you get your job with Carpenter Oak?
I've always had a passion for traditional timber framing and when an opportunity with Carpenter Oak came up I took and the rest is history!
What do you like about working for Carpenter Oak and what’s your favourite project you’ve worked on?
There's lots of good things about working for Carpenter Oak, the community between crafts people, the knowledge sharing, the opportunity to work on awesome projects and keeping the craft of traditional timber framing alive.
It's really hard to pick a favourite job as we get a lot of cool projects come through the workshop, I really enjoyed working on a lodge down in Cornwall as I cut a lot of it in the workshop, we had a great team to go and raise it as well as it being in a very cool location.
