If stranded on a desert island which three people would you take and why?
My husband – for company and survival; Thor Heyerdahl – so we could build a raft and get off the island; my chef friend – so we could eat well while we were there
What music do you listen to?
Depends on the mood, and situation… but a bit of everything.

The friendly people, the enormous tea pot, and all the well behaved dogs.
Do you have a favourite quote?
Go big or go home!
Where is your favourite place in the world?
The Marquesan Islands or at home in Canada… or anywhere with trees, a sunset and a beach
I grew up in Canada. Spent six years working on traditional wooden tall ships around the world. Landed in the UK and spent seven years as an organic market gardener. While running small farms I developed a deep and enduring love of spreadsheets, budgeting and using finances to push businesses forward so pivoted full time into finances to continue down that path and haven’t looked back.
