If you had to pick one, which is your favourite Carpenter Oak project and why?
Any project that is delivered on time to a happy customer!
When not in the yard, what do you enjoy doing?
Although it takes its toll these days, playing Rugby and Cricket, when allowed! If not something less arduous such as a walk on Dartmoor with Family and dogs, followed by a spot of wine appreciation.
If stranded on a desert island, which three people would you take and why?
I would be in trouble, if I didn’t say my wife Julie and our three children. Thankfully I wouldn’t have to decide whom to leave behind, as the children wouldn’t join us without WiFi!
What is the best comedy film ever made?
Monty Python’s – Life of Brian
Where is your favourite place in the world?
Wow spoilt for choice! I would have to say at home with a glass of red, a roaring fire on a cold day up on Dartmoor
Having been born and brought up in the Home Counties, I joined the Armed Forces in my early twenties. During a career of almost twenty years, I was lucky enough to make Devon my home for more than fifteen of those years and I’ve never left! I decided to leave the Services in 2012, spending a brief period with Shell International Trading and Shipping Company whilst attempting to find a more interesting role back in Devon. Having survived a stringent recruitment process of no less than five interviews, I joined the Project Management and Production team at Carpenter Oak in July 2017. Now that I’ve been persuaded to leave the suit, blazer and chinos at home, I want to give as much as I can to my new-found career with Carpenter Oak, whilst striking a balance with my family and home on Dartmoor.
