Our approach to timber frame design has the client’s needs as the starting point from which ideas can form.  Remodelling or extending existing buildings is second nature to us and showcases how timber framing is adaptable and versatile, no matter what site restrictions or access you may have.

We love a challenge and have never let the difficulties of a site restrict what’s possible, from using a helicopter to fly in timber, to an ex-D-Day landing craft on a remote Scottish Island!

Our smaller projects vary in size and appearance, encompassing anything from oak framed conservatories to garden rooms, or timber orangeries, depending on your needs. We specialise in oak, but also work with other timbers such as Douglas fir and glulam, which offer a different aesthetic and can broaden what is structurally possible.

Whether you’re after a simple porch or an oak framed garage, with a timber frame, good things come in small packages.
