After a fantastic event in 2019, thanks to the kind support of owners Chris and Stephanie, we’re returning to Worcestershire for another of our Open House events.

Since the last event, the house has won a RIBA Worcestershire Award, in recognition of the daring, contemporary and curved oak frame home.

Chris and Stephanie came to one of our events at Cranham Lodge, also designed by Batterham Matthews Architects, and were inspired to build Wychbold House in a challenging setting and plot.

Our Open House events are a great way to see an oak frame up close and talk to the owners about their self-build journey.  The team from Carpenter Oak will also be on hand to talk about your project, so bring along your drawings, sketches and photos so that you can make the most of your time with us.  Even if you’re still looking for a plot and are just at the ideas stage, the more you can tell us about what you want to build, the better advice we can give you.

Booking is essential so that we can stagger appointments through the days and give everyone a chance to tour the building and speak to Chris and Stephanie too.

See more photos and find out more about the project in our case study.

When: Postponed.  We will update this page as soon as we have a new date.

Where: Alvechurch, Worcestershire

Book: Ring 01803 732 900 or email hello@carpenteroak.com

Can’t make it to Worcestershire?  Find out where and when you can meet us at numerous self-build shows throughout the year in our events calendar.  You can also book in to visit the Devon Show Barn and see the workshops all year round.
