We made our debut at Build It Live Northwest in 2017 and after a fantastic show we’re returning in 2018 to Manchester’s Event City on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 February.
There are hundreds of exhibitors, free workshops, seminars and demos, advice on plot finding, a final fix gallery and an eco-building demonstration.
Carpenter Oak’s award-winning specialists will be available at our show-stand D10 to discuss any project ideas and plans. Project consultant Alex Boulger will be giving a seminar on ‘Creating a Contemporary Oak Framed home’ – showcasing some of our most celebrated and some recent projects, at 11am on Saturday.
We are also teaming up with Miller Kendrick Architects at the show. Michael Kendrick and Paul Miller will be on hand to discuss your ideas and look at your plans.
You will also be able to hear from Anthony Higham – homeowner of 2016 Build It award winner for best self build project. In a Q&A session, you can learn about his self-build journey and how an oak frame enabled the open plan living areas and structure. The session will take place at 2pm on both days.
