Carpenter Oak will be exhibiting at the new Southwest Home & Garden Show at Westpoint in Exeter. The show is being launched off the back of the success of the Cornwall Home Improvement and Home and Lifestyle shows of the last six years.
As with all of the shows and events we attend throughout the year, it’s a great opportunity for anyone wanting find out more about timber framed projects, talk to us about your plans and show us any drawings you might have had drawn up – from architect’s plans to the back of an envelope!
Along with Carpenter Oak, there are over 140 exhibitors, including interiors, gardens, renewables, self build, homeware and food producers.
Company Director Stuart Voaden will be giving a seminar on both days at 1pm. ‘Inspiring Timber Projects’ will showcase exciting properties, looking at timber framing as a method of re-modelling for all manner of projects, including extensions, renovations and barn conversions, as well as new builds large and small.
Stuart will show the aesthetic and engineering versatility of using a timber frame. These inspirational projects will be discussed alongside how the clients went about commissioning a timber frame.
If you’re coming to Devon for the show it’s also a good excuse to make a weekend of it and further your Carpenter Oak experience by booking in to see our Show Barn at the Framing Yard, or the the Show Home in Kingskerwell. Both offer the chance to see an oak frame up close and get a sense of the look and form of oak and what design options a timber frame can allow.
